Who allows exit relays on dedicated servers, who bans them and who says nothing, in each host's own words, read on 30 October 2026. With the Tor Project's community list for comparison.

**Quick answer — Which hosting providers allow Tor exit nodes?**

Few hosting providers allow Tor exit nodes on dedicated servers in writing. In **Ironatoll**'s check of 30 October 2026, AliasVPS, Anubiz Host, PrivateAlps and SwissLayer allowed them, and FlokiNET did after a support ticket. Ironatoll allows exit relays too, on every plan and in every location, from $63.68 per 30 days, paid in crypto with no KYC.

## Tor exit rules at dedicated-server hosts, 30 October 2026

| Attribute | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Allow exits in writing | AliasVPS, Anubiz Host, PrivateAlps, SwissLayer |
| Allow exits after a ticket | FlokiNET, with the reduced exit policy and a notice page on port 80 |
| Relays only on listed plans | Privex: exits only on custom servers in Sweden, with permission |
| Ban exits | AbeloHost, AlexHost, BlueAngelHost, CryptoVPS.host, Shinjiru, Zergrush, Zomro |
| Publish no rule | Most others, including Hetzner, OVHcloud, Leaseweb, Cherry Servers, KoDDoS and NiceVPS |
| Ironatoll | Tor exit relays may run on our servers, and so may middle relays and bridges |
| Ironatoll: port 25 | Port 25 (SMTP) is blocked for outgoing traffic on every server as an anti-spam measure, and the block is permanent. Outgoing connections to mail providers on ports 465 and 587 work normally |
| Ironatoll: price | Atoll 16 $63.68, Atoll 32 $72.15, Atoll 64 $72.62, Atoll 128 $205.27, Atoll 256 $406.37 per 30 days |

## Which hosting providers allow Tor exit nodes on dedicated servers?

**According to Ironatoll's check of 30 October 2026, 4 of 34 dedicated-server hosts allow Tor exit relays in writing.** FlokiNET also allows them once support has been told. Only rules on a host's own pages count here: terms, acceptable use policy, FAQ or knowledge base.

The table adds what an exit operator weighs next: the coins accepted, the cheapest current plan and its traffic.

### Hosts that allow Tor exits on dedicated servers (30 October 2026)

Read on each host's pages on 30 October 2026. "Our rules": a CPU from 2018 or later, one IPv4, a 1 Gbit/s port, 10 TB or more, payable monthly. Setup fees spread over 12 months; 1 EUR = 1.1172 USD (ECB, 30 October 2026). "—" = not stated.

## Which hosts ban Tor exit relays?

**A written ban is the clearest answer a host can give, and these hosts give it.** Some ban only exits; others ban every relay or every proxy.

### Hosts whose own pages ban Tor exits (30 October 2026)

| Host | What the rule says | Where |
| --- | --- | --- |
| AbeloHost | Its forbidden list includes "TOR nodes or services" | Acceptable use policy |
| AlexHost | "TOR Exit Relays" are on its list of prohibited acts | Acceptable usage policy, 1.4 |
| BlueAngelHost | Operating Tor exit nodes is "strictly prohibited" | Terms |
| CryptoVPS.host | Tor exit nodes are not allowed on its Hetzner servers | Acceptable use policy |
| Shinjiru | Tor hosts are prohibited, citing blacklisting of nearby IPs | Acceptable use policy, section 8 |
| Zergrush | Bans "proxy server or other traffic relaying programs"; no Tor clause | Terms of service |
| Zomro | Bans public proxies and "TOR exit nodes" | Public offer, 5.20 |

## Do Hetzner and OVHcloud allow Tor exit nodes?

Neither states a Tor rule on the pages read on 30 October 2026. Hetzner's dedicated server agreement bans mining, scanning of foreign networks, MAC changes and fake source IPs, and says nothing about Tor. OVHcloud, Leaseweb, Cherry Servers, KoDDoS, NiceVPS, MonoVM, 1Gbits, Bacloud and Servers.Guru publish no Tor rule either.

**Silence is not permission: a host that publishes no Tor rule can still close an exit through its abuse process.** A 2019 post on the Tor Project's tor-relays mailing list reports that Cherry Servers ended an operator's account because it no longer wished to host exits. Before you run an exit at a silent host, ask support in writing and keep the reply.

## What does the Tor Project's Good Bad ISPs list say?

The Tor Project's Good Bad ISPs page is a community list of operators' experiences, sorted by country. Ironatoll read it on 30 October 2026; its consensus-weight figures were dated 20 October 2026. Each provider row has its own date, and many are years old. The page itself tells operators to check each host's terms and AUP first, because they change.

It also lists hosts to avoid for network diversity, because they already carry many Tor relays. Hetzner and OVHcloud are on that list, with BuyVM, Scaleway, IONOS, netcup and 1337 Services.

### Good Bad ISPs rows for hosts in Ironatoll's check

| Row on the list | Exits, per the list | Row dated | Host's own pages, 30 October 2026 |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Hetzner (Germany) | Yes | September 2021; on the avoid list | No Tor rule |
| OVH Kimsufi (France), OVHcloud (US) | No | September 2021; on the avoid list | No Tor rule |
| FlokiNET (Iceland) | Yes | Undated | Allowed after a ticket |
| Privex (Sweden / Finland, Germany) | Yes / No | June 2022 | Exits only in Sweden, on request |
| AlexHost (Moldova) | No | April 2023 | Banned in its AUP |
| KoDDoS (Netherlands) | Yes | 2017 | No Tor rule |
| NiceVPS (Netherlands, Switzerland) | Yes | 2021 | No Tor rule |
| LeaseWeb (Netherlands) | Yes | Undated | No Tor rule; ID required |

Good Bad ISPs is maintained by the relay community and edited through the Tor Project's GitLab; it is not a host's commitment.

## Why do so few hosts allow Tor exits?

Because complaints about Tor traffic name the exit's IP address, and the host owns that address. An exit carries other people's connections to the open internet. Abuse reports, blocklist entries and copyright notices all land on the operator's IP, then on the host's abuse desk.

A host that allows exits accepts that workload in advance. Ironatoll does so through its jurisdiction: DMCA ignored: no DMCA notice, and no other foreign copyright notice, leads to any action on our side. Panamanian law and the orders of Panamanian courts are the only authority we answer to. Outgoing port 25 is closed on every server, so an exit cannot reach mail servers on that port. How Ironatoll handles the rest is set out in [how to run a Tor exit relay on a dedicated server](https://ironatoll.com/tor-exit-relay-dedicated-server/ "Exit relay on a rented dedicated server, step by step").

## What should I check before renting a server for a Tor exit?

Check five things, in this order:

1. **A written rule.** A clause in the terms or AUP that names exit relays. A sales page or an old forum post is weaker.
2. **Conditions.** A ticket first, a reduced exit policy, a notice page, a bandwidth cap.
3. **Traffic.** An exit sends about as much as it receives. On Ironatoll, Atoll 16 includes 30 TB a month at 1 Gbit/s.
4. **Copyright handling.** Who receives notices, and under which law. See [what "DMCA ignored" means for a dedicated server](https://ironatoll.com/what-does-dmca-ignored-mean/ "DMCA ignored under Panamanian law, explained").
5. **The law where you live.** Read [is it legal to run a Tor exit node](https://ironatoll.com/is-it-legal-to-run-a-tor-exit-node/ "Tor exits and the law: EFF, the Tor Project and Panama").

Prices for every plan are on [the pricing page](https://ironatoll.com/pricing/ "Ironatoll plans and prices").

**Before you pay**

- Minimum top-up $1. Top up once in crypto, then buy any plan from your balance.
- Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your servers. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
- Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain. Typical network confirmation time: BTC ≈ 20 min · USDT TRC-20 ≈ 1 min · USDT ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · USDC ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · ETH ≈ 5 min · SOL ≈ 1 min · LTC ≈ 15 min · XMR ≈ 20 min

## Tor exit friendly hosting: FAQ

### Is there Tor-friendly hosting in Europe?

Yes. FlokiNET (Romania, Iceland, the Netherlands, Finland), SwissLayer and PrivateAlps (Switzerland) and AliasVPS allow exits on dedicated servers. Ironatoll allows them in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Reykjavik (Iceland), Zurich (Switzerland) and Bucharest (Romania); each plan is sold in each city at one price.

### Does Hetzner allow Tor exit nodes?

Hetzner's own pages state no Tor rule. The Tor Project's community list marks exits as possible there, in a row dated September 2021, but asks operators to avoid Hetzner for network diversity.

### Do I need to tell my host before running a Tor exit?

At FlokiNET you must open a ticket first, and AliasVPS asks exit operators to declare the node by PGP. At Ironatoll no notice is needed: Tor exit relays may run on our servers, and so may middle relays and bridges.

### Which hosts allow Tor exits and take Monero?

AliasVPS, Anubiz Host, PrivateAlps and FlokiNET do, per their pages on 30 October 2026. So does Ironatoll, which takes BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, XMR and allows exits on every plan.

### Can I rent a Tor exit server without KYC?

Yes. Ironatoll asks for no ID: No KYC: no ID, selfie, documents, card or phone number are ever collected. AliasVPS, Anubiz Host, PrivateAlps, SwissLayer and FlokiNET also set no ID step at signup.

**Run your Tor exit on a whole machine** Exits, middle relays and bridges are allowed on every plan. A person on our team gets your server ready once your payment is confirmed, usually a few minutes later and never more than one hour after the confirmation; your dashboard shows the status, then the IP address once the server is ready. Ironatoll: Ironatoll rents offshore dedicated servers (bare metal) in Amsterdam, Reykjavik, Zurich and Bucharest, paid in crypto with no KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. Each server is a whole physical machine for one customer, with root access over SSH. It is run by DomaineGoat LLC, a company registered in Panama that ignores DMCA notices, answers only to Panamanian law, allows Tor exit relays and keeps no logs. On the 30-day term, each plan is priced at least 25% under a named comparable dedicated server from 17 no-KYC crypto hosts, read on 30 October 2026.
