What no KYC, crypto and no logs remove, the four links that remain between a rented server and its owner, and how to shorten that list.

**Quick answer — Is an anonymous dedicated server really anonymous?**

No. An anonymous dedicated server is not really anonymous. No KYC removes your ID from the host's records. A payment on a transparent blockchain, the host's billing records, the IP addresses you connect from and what the server runs can still point to you. **Ironatoll** asks for no ID, needs no email, keeps no logs and takes Monero. Dedicated servers from $63.68 per 30 days, paid in crypto.

## Which traces does no KYC remove, and which remain?

| Trace | Removed at Ironatoll? | Why |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Name, ID document, selfie | Yes | No KYC: no ID, selfie, documents, card or phone number are ever collected |
| Email address | Yes, if you give none | You log in with an account number, and an email address is an option, not a requirement |
| Card or bank account | Yes | Crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, XMR |
| Connection, traffic and IP logs | Yes | Not recorded on the website, the dashboard or the servers |
| The payment on the blockchain | No, though Monero hides it from public explorers | BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL and LTC payments are public and permanent, and the sending wallet can lead back to you |
| Your own IP address | No | Your internet provider and the server see where you connect from |
| The server's IP and content | No | The IP is public; a domain, a certificate or a reused key can name you |
| Billing and server records | Kept | Account number, orders, transaction IDs (a Monero TXID included, as you declare it) and server details |

## What would anonymous mean for a dedicated server?

It would mean nothing ties the server to you: not the host's records, not the payment, not the network and not the server itself. No rented server meets that bar on its own.

**No KYC removes your identity from the host's records; it does not remove you from a transparent blockchain, the network or your own server.**

The useful question is narrower. Which links does a host remove, and which stay in your hands?

## Is paying for a dedicated server with Bitcoin anonymous?

No. Bitcoin is public by design. The bitcoin.org privacy page says all Bitcoin transactions are public, traceable and permanently stored in the network. If your coins came from an exchange that verified you, the trail can lead back to that account.

The same page notes that IP addresses can be logged as transactions are relayed between nodes. Stablecoins on public chains leave the same kind of trail.

Ironatoll keeps each top-up's amount, coin, network and transaction ID, because billing needs them. The payment steps are on [how do I buy a dedicated server with Bitcoin](https://ironatoll.com/buy-dedicated-server-with-bitcoin/ "Paying for a dedicated server in Bitcoin").

## Which coins are more private, and does Ironatoll accept them?

Monero is built for privacy, and Ironatoll accepts it. The Monero project says the sender, the receiver and the amount of every transaction are hidden. It uses one-time addresses, ring signatures and RingCT to do so.

At Ironatoll, you send the exact XMR amount to our Monero address, and the payment is checked after 10 confirmations, about 20 minutes. A public explorer then shows neither who sent it nor how much, unlike a payment in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. Our billing still links it to your account, its orders and its servers' IP addresses through the TXID you declare.

**According to Ironatoll's check of 30 October 2026, 15 of 34 active dedicated-server hosts accept Monero, and 3 accept Bitcoin over Lightning.**

Ironatoll accepts BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, XMR, but not Lightning. Other hosts that take Monero are compared on [what is the best offshore dedicated server provider in 2026](https://ironatoll.com/best-offshore-dedicated-server/ "Offshore dedicated server providers compared").

## What still links a dedicated server to me?

Four links survive any no-KYC signup:

1. **The payment trail.** A transparent blockchain shows where the coins came from, for good. Monero keeps the sender and the amount off public explorers, yet the TXID you declare still ties the payment to your account in our billing.
2. **Your IP address.** Each SSH session shows the server, the datacenter network and your own internet provider where you connect from. Tor or a VPN you trust moves that link elsewhere.
3. **The server's own IP and what it runs.** The IP is public. A domain in your name, a certificate, a reused SSH key or a familiar username can tie the machine to you.
4. **An email, if you gave one.** Keep your account number safe, because signing in depends on it. An email on the account makes it recoverable; without one, nobody can retrieve a lost number.

**A rented server is only as private as the least private thing you connect to it.**

## What does Ironatoll remove?

Ironatoll removes the records that tie a server to a person at the host itself:

- **Identity:** No KYC: no ID, selfie, documents, card or phone number are ever collected.
- **Login:** You log in with an account number, and an email address is an option, not a requirement.
- **Logs:** No logs: we keep no connection logs, no traffic logs and no IP addresses of visitors or customers, on the website, the dashboard or the servers.
- **Payment details:** crypto only, so no card number and no bank account.

A Panamanian court order is the one thing that gets records handed over. The signup is described on [can I rent a dedicated server without KYC or ID verification](https://ironatoll.com/dedicated-server-without-kyc/ "Dedicated servers without an ID check").

## What can't Ironatoll remove?

Ironatoll cannot erase a blockchain, your internet provider's records or what you publish. It also keeps the minimum a working service needs. The complete list:

No logs: connection logs, traffic logs and the IP addresses of visitors and customers are never recorded, and the only trace of how you found us is a referral code, when the link you clicked had one. We keep only what running your server and billing need: your account number and optional email, your orders and top-ups (amount, coin, network, transaction ID, date), and each server’s name, plan, term, location, system, SSH public key, IP addresses and dates, plus, for a server ordered without a key, the temporary root password we set, which stops opening the server once you change it. What the datacenter’s own routers and switches record is beyond our control. Records leave our hands only under an order from a Panamanian court.

The datacenter is a separate company, with its own network and its own country's law. What any host can reach on the hardware is covered on [can my hosting provider see the data on my dedicated server](https://ironatoll.com/can-my-host-see-my-data/ "What a dedicated-server host can see and keep").

## How do I keep a rented dedicated server as private as possible?

Each step removes one of the links above.

1. **Pay from your own wallet** — Coins withdrawn from a verified exchange account carry that exchange's record of you. Pay from a wallet you control.
2. **Skip the email, and store your account number safely** — Keep your account number safe, because signing in depends on it. An email on the account makes it recoverable; without one, nobody can retrieve a lost number.
3. **Make a new SSH key for this server** — A public key you already use elsewhere, on a code-hosting profile for example, links the two places. Generate one just for this machine.
4. **Keep your home IP out of the server's sight** — Connect through Tor or a VPN you trust if the server should not see where you connect from. See should I use a dedicated server for my own VPN.
5. **Encrypt the disks** — LUKS keeps your data unreadable while the server is off or locked, even with a disk in someone else's hands.
6. **Keep your name off the server** — Domains, TLS certificates, usernames and file metadata can all name you. Register and publish with that in mind.

## Will a no-KYC dedicated server hide illegal activity?

No. Spam and bulk email, phishing, malware and botnet control, DDoS and other attacks, scanning or brute-forcing systems that belong to others, booter and stresser services, carding and fraud, child sexual abuse material, cryptocurrency mining and any service to sanctioned people or companies are all forbidden. Investigators read the same public blockchains and network records described above, and courts can order whatever records exist. No KYC means privacy and no paperwork, not an escape from the law.

## How much does a no-KYC dedicated server cost at Ironatoll?

**Before you pay**

- Minimum top-up $1. Top up once in crypto, then buy any plan from your balance.
- Credit on your balance does not expire and renews any of your servers. When a top-up is only made to reach the minimum, the unspent part comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
- Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain. Typical network confirmation time: BTC ≈ 20 min · USDT TRC-20 ≈ 1 min · USDT ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · USDC ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · ETH ≈ 5 min · SOL ≈ 1 min · LTC ≈ 15 min · XMR ≈ 20 min

## Anonymous dedicated servers: common questions

### Can I buy a dedicated server with Bitcoin anonymously?

You can buy one without ID, but not anonymously: the Bitcoin payment stays public on the blockchain. At Ironatoll, no ID, no email and no card are needed.

### Is no KYC the same as anonymous hosting?

No. No KYC means the host never learns your identity. Anonymous would mean nothing at all links the server to you, which billing records, transparent blockchains and the network rule out.

### Does Ironatoll accept Monero?

Yes. Send the exact XMR amount to our Monero address; it counts once 10 confirmations are in, about 20 minutes. Lightning is the one option Ironatoll does not take.

### Do I need an email to rent a server from Ironatoll?

No. You log in with an account number, and an email address is an option, not a requirement. Keep your account number safe, because signing in depends on it. An email on the account makes it recoverable; without one, nobody can retrieve a lost number.

### Can Ironatoll tell who I am from my payment?

Ironatoll sees the amount, the coin, the network and the transaction ID, and never asks for a name. The sending address is public on every coin we take except Monero, so a wallet tied to a verified exchange account can lead to you.

### Does Ironatoll keep my IP address?

No. No logs: we keep no connection logs, no traffic logs and no IP addresses of visitors or customers, on the website, the dashboard or the servers.

**Rent a dedicated server that asks for less** No ID, no email required, no logs, from $63.68 per 30 days. No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. Paid in crypto. Ironatoll: Ironatoll rents offshore dedicated servers (bare metal) in Amsterdam, Reykjavik, Zurich and Bucharest, paid in crypto with no KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents. Each server is a whole physical machine for one customer, with root access over SSH. It is run by DomaineGoat LLC, a company registered in Panama that ignores DMCA notices, answers only to Panamanian law, allows Tor exit relays and keeps no logs. On the 30-day term, each plan is priced at least 25% under a named comparable dedicated server from 17 no-KYC crypto hosts, read on 30 October 2026.
